Photography Internship
Mid-City Electric is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and talented student to join our marketing communications department.
The intern will be a vital asset to our marketing communications team and will have the full responsibility of capturing the essence of our business by photographing our many jobsites throughout the Columbus area. The intern will also shoot and edit a short video to be used for our website and other promotional materials. We welcome creativity and new ideas!
The ideal candidate will be a photography, photojournalism, or visual communication junior or senior who has experience both taking and editing photos. Proficiency in PhotoShop and Video Editing software is required, and candidates must submit three sample photos along with a resume and cover letter to be considered.
If selected for an interview, Mid-City will request a portfolio of work, which should accompany the candidate on the set interview day. This internship is competitively paid. A time commitment of three months or longer is desired with schedule ranging from 10-20 hours a week.
