MARKETING - PROMOTIONS - PR - SPORTS

Dear Student,
Are you looking for an internship in the sports field? Are you interested in sport
management, communications, graphic design or public relations? The Licking County Settlers is
accepting internship cover letters and resumés for the upcoming 201 2 season. The Licking
County Settlers' home is in Newark, Ohio, about an hour and a half north of Athens and about
half hour east of Columbus. The club was founded in 2005 and is a member of the Great Lakes
Summer Collegiate League (GLSCL).
This internship is unpaid but will offer valuable experience and is open to all creative,
hardworking and determined individuals who want to gain experience in the sports field. Since it
is unpaid, housing will be available to all interns as needed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Gameday Operations *Ticketing
*Graphic Design *Communications/Programs
*Marketing *Social Media/PR
*Promotions *Merchandise Table
When applying please note any experience in the following areas:
*Social Media (Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Tumblr, etc…)
*Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, I llustrator)
*Event Programming/Promotions
*Marketing
