AKHIA is looking for a Summer Intern. The ideal candidate must have a passion for communication, strong writing skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Internship will be 20-40 hours per week.
 
Responsibilities:
·         Assist account service and social media teams in research, development and execution of marketing communications tactics on behalf of clients
·         Write and publish AKHIA Intern blog posts
·         Write and upload content to AKHIA social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube
·         Build qualified media lists using CisionPoint list database
·         Collect editorial calendars for client media relations
·         Maintain client media relations clip records and compile measurement reports for media relations outreach, email marketing campaigns, social media programs, etc.
·         Write copy for newsletters, press releases, etc.
·         Assist with general office duties as needed
 
Qualifications:
·         Effective verbal and written communication skills
·         Pursuing a degree in public relations, marketing communications or a related field
·         Self-starter with attention to detail
·         Experience with social media channels, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
·         Interest in agency public relations and marketing

Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive social media presence for the Columbus Rotary Club

Description: Intern will provide operational and logistical support to the Strategic Partnerships team
to meet the needs of our Experience Partner program and partners. Typical projects

Intern will work closely with the communications specialist in assignments, goals, and education about the field of corporate communications.
