The Publishing Group, Ltd. in Columbus, Ohio – publisher of three community magazines (Dublin Life, Upper Arlington Magazine and Westerville Magazine); CityScene, an arts and entertainment magazine; and Luxury Living, an upscale home magazine – has produced top quality magazines, event programs, visitors’ guides and corporate literature for more than 25 years
We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented journalism/communications interns who are interested in all aspects of magazine writing: interviewing, feature writing, photography and basic copyediting. Interns will be expected to meet deadlines and work in and out of the office to produce compelling, local content for several of our publications and Web sites. The internship is unpaid, though college credit can be obtained. A minimum of 12 hours per week is requested, and the time is divided over the course of the week as it best suits the intern.
Because we have a small editorial department, we seek an intern who will be eager to do the work and gain the valuable real-world experience that the position provides. Internships are available all quarters, including summer.
