Responsible to support member communications, quality service standards and also the growth and performance goals of the credit union.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Primary responsibility and top priority is to focus on phone calls and written communications with our new members to welcome them to the credit union.

2.Accountable for managing written member communications for additional products and services, account notifications and sales materials.

3.Responsible to maintain the highest level of professionalism at all times when representing Education First Credit Union. Additionally, will be held fully accountable to maintain complete and strictest confidentiality with member’s personal and private financial information.

4.Solicit new members in the credit union’s field of membership, through personal phone calls and in joint visits to target member groups with a Business Development Officer.

5.Provides constructive feedback on our social media presence and posts.

6.Visits / connects with schools and education focused organizations as assigned with a Business Development Officer.

7.Maintains a working knowledge of all the products and services we offer. Also, responsible to remain abreast of current sales / product promotions, and specific mailings and member communications.

8.Participates in sales and service training and education whenever needed.

9.Provides feedback to Management on ideas, concerns, and suggestions to improve, enhance, or streamline upon the quality and delivery of our products and services.

10.Manages additional duties as requested or assigned.

Position Requirements:

A commitment to learn and contribute to the financial well-being of our members, and to the credit union overall. Represent the credit union to new and existing members with professionalism, confidence and pride. Sound communication skills are required. This includes written, oral and presentational expertise. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are also required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Basic understanding of the credit unions products and services. Ability to speak English and to communicate with proper grammar and to write with proper punctuation and spelling.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Business development, marketing, and sales experience is a plus. Any experience of working with the general public will be an advantage.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Understanding of credit union products.
Knowledge of sales and marketing principles.
Strong interpersonal and public relations skills.
Excellent sales / communication abilities.
Good presentation skills.
Good verbal and written skills.
Demonstration of a positive attitude and personal initiative.

Physical Activities and Requirement:

FINGER DEXTERITY:
Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together.

TALKING:
Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.

AVERAGE HEARING:
Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

REPETITIVE MOTIONS:
Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

VISUAL ABILITIES:
Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.

PHYSICAL STRENGTH:
Walking, standing or sitting most of the time. Able to exert up to 40 lbs. of force occasionally.
