INTERNSHIP QUALIFICATIONS • Junior or senior level college student pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, fund development or a related field • Strong organizational skills as well as excellent written and oral communication skills • Ability to multi-task and work both independently and as a part of a team • Past project management and social media experience and previous internship experience are preferred JOB SPECIFICS • Paid ($10/hour) for no less than a six month commitment with 30 and 90 day reviews • Hours per week are typically as follows: 15-20 hours/week during school year and possibly more during the summer. • Some travel may be necessary so a vehicle is required INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDE: • Assist in the development and execution of fund development, PR and marketing plans • Assist with planning and implementing special events • Support fund development and marketing staff with other day-to-day responsibilities • Develop marketing collateral including brochures, newsletters, etc. • Assist with social media efforts, including Facebook, Twitter and You Tube. • Develop, review, and update website content • Assist with media relations initiatives, such as writing media releases and pitching stories to the media TO APPLY Please send your resume, cover letter and a writing sample by October 10, 2012 to: Mount Carmel College of Nursing Office of College Relations collegerelations@mccn.edu
