Kaitlin Kaitlin Johnson Columbus Zoo and Aquarium Phone: (614) 724-3792 Fax: (614) 645-3465 Position Title: Strategic Partnerships Intern Department: Philanthropy Description: Position will assist the Strategic Partnerships team in providing operational and logistical support to meet the needs of our partners. Typical tasks may include but are not limited to: coordinating sponsorship activation logistics, including programming and event support; sponsorship stewardship reporting; collaborating and managing projects with other departments; and communicating with key internal stakeholders. Requirements: • 3rd or 4th year student in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management or related program. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly professional writing. • Ability to work with team members, members of other departments and outside contacts. • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time. • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects to best manage accountabilities. • 3.0 or above accumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. • PC literate (Microsoft Office, Publisher and database management). • Student must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record. • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays required. • Subject to BMV check. • Subject to Criminal Background check. • Subject to Drug Free Workplace Policy.
