COLUMBUS CHAMBER: Marketing

 

Business Experience Internship

The Columbus Chamber of Commerce is providing a unpaid internship experience (up to) six (6) Senior Undergraduate College students, with major in business or marketing, interviewing local owners or operators of small to medium sized business (10-50 employees; B2B; >2 years in business) whom are also Columbus Chamber members. Purpose is to gather data, document/communicate/analyze and offer recommendations for greater servicing to the Membership Services  team

Questions may include:

*Challenges/struggles in their current business markets

*Their growth objectives, as a company, 1-2 years out.

*Chamber resources currently being utilized by member.

Intern Outcomes

1) Understand the local and present business environments in contrast to what they have learned in their current academic studies.

2) Provides possible career connections, into the business world, for the graduating students.

Number of hours  (per  week): 6 – 12; flexible hours (daytime preferred)
