Position Description: Video and Media Production Intern
Date: Summer/Fall 2012
Vineyard Columbus is looking to fill a Communications/PR internship for the 2012/2013 academic year. This position will assist in the development of internal and external content. Communications and PR majors are encouraged to apply. Qualifications
MUST be a current Junior or Senior college student
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Completion of mid-level video production/editing coursework
Flexible schedule (10-20 hours per week)
Up to $200 a month, plus academic credit
General responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Scheduling, setting up, lighting, and shooting video interviews
Documenting events using both still/video capture
Logging and assembling rough-cut edits
Assisting with blogging and re-purposing content for Social Media
Skills desired:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
DSLR photography experience
Understanding of editing programs such as Final Cut Pro, Avid, Premiere, etc.
Clear grasp of Organizational Communications and Public Relations
