Job Description: Assist VSAO staff with coordinating marketing and outreach efforts related to festival programming, including generating press/publicity communications, graphic design of program materials, basic website maintenance, and general event planning.
Job Requirements: Looking for a detail-oriented, articulate candidate interested in film-related events and intersections of art and disability. Creative backgrounds in advertising and/or graphic design highly desirable. Photoshop and social media skills a plus.
About ReelAbilities Film Festival: From November 3-7th, 2012, Columbus will be the host city for the largest film festival in the country dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with different disabilities. Initiated in NY in 2007, the festival presents award winning films by and about people with disabilities. Post-screening discussions and other engaging programs bring together the community to explore, discuss, embrace, and celebrate the diversity of our shared human experience.
