Internship - Web Design
Ohio Ethics Commission

Hours per Week: 10
*Job Description: Review and update the Ohio Ethics Commission’s website structure and standards.
Assist leadership with long range-planning for online projects/needs.
Participate and assist with website redesign, social media, mobile device, and online training initiatives.
Implement design concepts into a production environment using C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML, DHTML, XML, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS and ASP in a Windows Server environment.
Write and develop code for cross-browser support (ie. IE, Mozilla, Chrome, Safari, Opera, etc.).
Design and generate graphics, logos, and other visual elements for use on the agency’s website.
Students are encouraged to complete this internship for academic credit. Work hours and location are flexible.
*Qualifications: Current pursuit of undergraduate core coursework in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Web or Graphics Design/Development, Communications or other related field. Requires strong interpersonal communication skills, and ability to appreciate the importance of coding with web standards.
