Marketing Research & Communications Internship
A Different Direction LLC has an opportunity for a motivated marketing or communications major. This is a small marketing agency working with a variety of companies in the education and scientific/industrial markets. Clients range from start-up to Fortune 500. This position is a PAID internship averaging 5-10 hours per week, depending on client work load and your specific skill set. There may be opportunity to continue beyond the semester. I am looking for someone who can help with:
- Web research, information gathering and fact checking
- Competitive research and analysis
- Blogs and/or social media
- Document proofing and copyediting
- Administrative tasks (coordinating with printers & designers, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Junior or senior standing in marketing, communications or a related field
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Excellent research skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn
