WHAT IS IT

SBC’s Adtern Program is the best way to get a foot in the door of Columbus’ tightknit, exclusive advertising world. Get ready for an intensive 12-week learning experience designed to expose you to the real-world life of advertising.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We aren’t stuffy professionals – we’re passionate people with personalities.

We don’t clock in and out – we get in early and stay late because we love what we do and who we work with.

We don’t just color in the lines – we want ambitious people who think outside the box and take pride in their work.

Check everything you’ve learned at the door and embrace open thinking, fast pace, close collaboration, agile problem solving and some fun.

HOW IT WORKS

In the program, you will learn through a variety of activities based on the area of expertise. Based on your skills, we will match you with a discipline that corresponds with an SBC professional. This person will serve as your mentor throughout the program.

During the 12 weeks, all adterns will be divided into two teams. These teams will be responsible for identifying, researching and developing a solution for the advertising problem assigned.
*Qualifications:You must be a college junior or senior majoring in advertising, journalism, marketing, communications, public relations, interactive media, or other relevant field. You need to be able to commit 20 hours a week, and must receive course credit from your college or university program in order to be eligible as this is an unpaid internship.
*How to Apply:Please submit a resume along with the completed challenge that you best feel displays your skills and abilities. Please clearly indicate in your application which department you will be applying to, the options are Public Relations, Account Service, Marketing and New Business, Creative, and B2B.
