Kahiki Foods, the premier manufacturer of Asian frozen foods, is currently recruiting a Public Relations Intern for a part-time position to be based at our facility in Gahanna, Ohio.

JOB RESONSIBILITIES:

Refine the Public Relations strategy based on brand’s presence in media, social media and online media
Coordinate Public Relations activities with the support of the Marketing team throughout the internship
Creating and maintaining social media strategy via Twitter, Facebook, YouTube
Copywriting and submitting press releases to relevant media sources
Maintaining and organizing Kahiki blog including organizing and editing submitted entries
Copywriting and editing the Kahiki e-mail newsletter to be sent out to current Kahiki mailing list
Participate in relevant events and sessions as they occur through the year
Write and present status reports to Marketing Team
Other job-related functions as they become relevant

Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 2 years into a Bachelor’s program in Marketing, Communications or Journalism
Strong computer skills including extensive knowledge of Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, MS Office
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

SALARY:

$13 per hour, Average 10-20 hours per week

This position reports to the Brand Manager.
