Internship/Volunteer Opportunity
The Centerburg High School journalism program is looking for a volunteer/intern to help develop its broadcasting element and an online publication during the 2009-2010 school year.
Centerburg is approximately a 25-minute drive from Otterbein. Its newspaper, the Trojan Crier, is an award-winning publication with a staff of approximately 15 students. The current broadcast is a 3 to 5-minute promo for the paper that is shown the day before its publication once a month. A college student volunteer or intern would help students expand this broadcast and develop an online version of the Trojan Crier. The online publication would cover breaking news, carry highlights from the print version, and provide a venue for broadcast productions. Hours are flexible, and we will work with you and your professor(s) to meet your requirements for an internship. If interested, please contact the Trojan Crier adviser, Karen Allen, as listed below.
