*Job Description:	SUMMARY: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities include: • Internship (up to 12 semester hours of credit) for full-time undergraduate students • Full-time Position as a staff member in the Office of Admission • Four month Position; begins in August and ends at the conclusion of fall semester. - Travel to various locations in Ohio, Indiana and Michigan on a weekly basis - Represent Otterbein during high school visits and college fairs • Conduct on-campus interviews with students and their parents - Assist will fall visitation days for prospective students Requirements include: • Although you will encounter high school students and counselors as well as other admission counselors on a day-to-day basis, you travel and stay alone at hotels during the week • Public speaking is another responsibility that is expected of the intern. You must be comfortable speaking with both small and large groups of people. • Navigation! If you have a good sense if direction, it’s a lot easier to find the schools.
