Position
Description
Assist the Young Entrepreneurs Program (Y.E.P.) of
Westerville planning team with research, press release writing, general
marketing, social media campaign development and implementation, and office
administrative needs. Assist in the
development and launch of the first ever Young Entrepreneurs of Westerville
Summer Camp in Summer 2013. It is
expected that the intern will attend the organizational meetings of the Y.E.P.
group. The opportunity also exists for
the intern to participate in the development of content for website display for
Otterbein University, Westerville Parks & Recreation, TechColumbus, Westerville
Area Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Westerville as appropriate. The Young Entrepreneurs Program (Y.E.P.) of
Westerville planning team is willing to adapt this description to assist the
intern in developing other needed skills and experiences.

skills in the Westerville community through a two-week long Summer camp
experience. The intern will be exposed
to a variety of progressive and innovative ideas, while participating fully in
the entrepreneurial development of this program alongside leaders in the
Westerville community. This position
offers opportunities to network and meet business leaders, entrepreneurs, and
professionals from a variety of industries. We will encourage development of entrepreneurial,
organizational, and communication skills.
Qualifications
Candidate must be an Otterbein University student. Basic knowledge of and interest in new
program development for middle school youth and the entrepreneurial spirit to
be flexible, creative, and motivated to create a successful program. Show
attention to detail, be outgoing and organized.
Express interest in planning and problem solving with logistics and
processes. Computer proficiency with
Windows and related applications is required. Good communication skills, listening and
verbalizing are required. Creativity
and initiative are strongly encouraged and expected.
