 *Job Description: Fahlgren Mortine is seeking a full-time public relations intern for its Columbus, Ohio office. Candidates with PR experience are encouraged to apply now for the 10-12 week program, which begins in January.

Potential Internship Responsibilities

 Conducting new business and client research

 Developing media lists, blogger lists, editorial calendars and media results reports

 Participating in both internal team and client meetings

 Writing news releases, website copy, fact sheets, collateral, social media content and other materials

 Conducting social media research and audits

 Conducting local, trade and national media relations, as well as blogger relations, when appropriate

While preference is given to public relations, communications and journalism majors, all applicants will be considered. Prior internship experience in public relations, communications and journalism is also a plus.
