2013 Campaign
Assistant Description (Responsibilities are not all inclusive)
Spring Semester
The
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Light The Night® Walk celebrates and
commemorates lives touched by cancer. This one-mile walk is much like a huge
family picnic. All participants carry illuminated balloons: white for cancer
survivors, red for supporters and gold for teams walking in memory of someone.
This event provides people who are touched by cancer an opportunity to turn
their emotions into action. Many people form teams to raise money and walk with
decorated banners that represent their involvement. Free food, music and
entertainment are provided.
