RADIO BROADCASTING INTERNSHIP for WOSU PUBLIC RADIO “ALL SIDES WITH ANN FISHER” (Volunteer, Unpaid Internship)

POSITION DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES: This is primarily a technical position.
Broadcast Intern will be responsible for uploading daily pod cast of “All Sides with Ann Fisher” to our web page. Other technical duties as needed. Training provided. Two hours required Monday through Friday: noon to 2 PM or 1 – 3 PM. Some flexibility in schedule possible.
Be part of the “All Sides with Ann Fisher” team and learn first-hand how a local NPR radio talk show is created.
University Credit opportunity…as agreed to by university/college department and All Sides staff. Must be a college or university student enrolled in an approved course to qualify for course credit.
“All Sides with Ann Fisher” is a live, public affairs talk show, with listener phone calls, on WOSU public radio. “All Sides” is streamed live, podcast and archived at www.wosu.org/allsides.
Ann Fisher is the Host/Executive Producer of “All Sides with Ann Fisher.” All Sides Producer Linda Taylor is supervisor for the Radio Broadcast Intern position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Must be a current college or university student…and commit to the position for at least one quarter or semester.
2) Must have a genuine interest in learning about radio broadcasting and public broadcasting.
3) Must be organized and detail oriented.
4) Must be able to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
