Summer Internship
The Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges (OFIC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that solicits contributions from the business and foundation communities for the benefit of its 34 member colleges and universities located throughout the State of Ohio. Founded in 1950, OFIC seeks funding for both unrestricted and restricted purposes, including operating (budget relief), scholarship and endowment gifts. OFIC is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, employs 13 full-time staff and works with a volunteer base of approximately 400 corporate and collegiate volunteers to carry out its mission.
We are looking for a computer savvy, self motivated and creative-thinking student from one of our member colleges/universities for a summer internship. The intern will perform electronic research functions related to our website redesign and our donor data base expansion, as well as general office projects to support campaign and marketing staff.
The intern will be on-site at OFIC, located in downtown Columbus. The internship is for 20 hours/week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, preferred, but not mandatory) during regular office hours (8:30 – 5:00, Monday through Friday) in June, July and August. Pay is $10/hour plus free parking; attire is business casual.
