2009 LANDAU SUMMER EXPERIENCE APPLICATION

Landau Public Relations is now accepting applications for its internship program - The Landau
Summer Experience"

Requirements:
• Completion of junior year in college; majoring in public relations, journalism or related fields
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Actively involved in campus and community activities
• Available to work full time in Cleveland, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Available to work 10-12 weeks June - August 2009
• Passionate about public relations
Description:

This program will give you hands-on experience at one of Cleveland's leading public relations
agencies. You'll learn from all of our areas of expertise, including marketing communications,
corporate reputation management, media relations and special events. We'll help you build your
portfolio with solid writing samples and real results. You'll also have a mentor who will provide you
guidance and advice throughout the internship In return, we expect hard work, enthusiasm and
willingness to learn what the agency world has to offer.
This is a paid, full-time internship.
To apply, applicants must submit the following:
• Cover letter and resume
• Two references
• Write an essay on one of the topics below. Essay should be one page, single-spaced or
approximately 500 words.
A. Jeweler XYZ is launching a charm bracelet program timed against Mother's Day with
more than 100 unique charm s symbolizing a variety of interests, special holidays,
etc. Create a brief plan outlining the strategies/tactics you would use to promote the
launch.
B. How would you incorporate social media tools to build awareness about the benefits of
Vitamin C?
