Good morning! My name is Kaitlin, and I’m in Strategic Partnerships at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. We have a paid internship open beginning late fall through the spring. Given your involvement with Capital’s PRSSA chapter, I wanted to reach out asking for your help in passing the opportunity along to your qualified students.
Our small Strategic Partnerships team manages the Columbus Zoo’s major corporate sponsors – managing partners’ investment by bringing to life programming (on and off Zoo grounds), coordinating communication and stewarding these relationships. The position is our Strategic Partnerships Communication Intern, and attached is the job description. We’re looking for an individual with strong written communication and project management skills, with a desire to learn more about corporate sponsorships. Our team – and the Zoo in general – has many exciting opportunities coming in the next several months (Wildlights season, holiday stewardship activities, the opening the new Africa region in the spring), and we both need and want to bring a talented, young professional along for the journey.
