Promoting and volunteering for the following cancer research benefit concert events:

Sean Carney’s Blues For a Cure presents Davina & The Vagabonds, Canal House, Tuscarawas, OH. Benefiting the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at The James.

Saturday, October 24, 2009
Sean Carney’s Blues For a Cure presents Davina & The Vagabonds, Vonn Jazz Lounge, Worthington, OH. Benefiting the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at The James.

Friday, December 4, 2009
The Eighth Annual “A Christmas To Cure Cancer” dinner, auction and benefit concert at The Conference Center at NorthPointe, Lewis Center, Ohio. Artists and guest speakers yet to be announced. Benefiting the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at The James.

Friday and Saturday, December 11 & 12, 2009.
The Third Annual Sean Carney’s Blues For A Cure Blues Festival at Whiskey Dicks in Columbus, OH. Artist list soon to be announced. Benefiting the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at The James and the American Cancer Society, Ohio Division.

Required Skills:

Setup and maintain MySpace, Facebook, Twitter and other online social sites.

Graphic creation of posters, postcards, tickets and other promotional materials for print and online display.

Assist in writing press releases.

Assist in creating and executing a promotions and marketing plan for each event.

Help organize a volunteer “street team” to help promote events.

Contact local print, radio and TV outlets for promotional opportunities and PSAs.

Creating and mailing tax receipt paperwork for ticket sales and donations.
